Apexcella Biomedical is dedicated to developing next-generation NK cell therapies and innovative CAR-NK cell therapies. Our mission is to provide effective, timely, safe, and affordable allogeneic cell therapies, while addressing unmet medical needs through novel therapeutic solutions.

2025
Apexcella was honored with recognition at the 22nd National Innovation Award (ApexNK® cell technology platform and ANiK® cell bank).
2L manufacturing test-run of CB-derived ApexNK® cells in a GTP facility.
Development of ApexNK® M2 kit for Module 2 manufacturing process.
Optimization of Module 2 manufacturing process (downstream process) in closed bioreactor (collaborated with Mycenax).
Optimization of cord blood (CB)-derived ApexNK® cell technology platform.
2024
Establishment of CAR-ApexNK® technology platform.
GLP Toxicology Validation of ApexNK® cells was completed.
R&D team was relocated at NanKang Biotech Incubation Center of DCB.
2023
Test-run of PB-derived ApexNK® cells in a GTP facility.
Optimization of peripheral blood (PB)-derived ApexNK® cell technology platform.
Clinical validation of two cases of compassionate use (NSCLC, AML).
Fundraising $3.5 million for Angel round.
2022
Exclusive licensing of「human ApexNK cells ex vivo expansion technology」from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou.
R&D team was located at National Biotechnology Research Park.
Apexcella Biomedical was incorporated in Taipei City.
